Storyboard Opening Title Sequence
Sample Frame
In this post, i have made a sample frame that i wanted to use in the project, i have tried to limit the use of colour and emphasize on the typographical layout, since it is the movie title sequence for the closing credits the design has to focus on the credits' name (People that involved in the movie)
These are the sample page that i would use in both closing and opening credits. Some pieces of the graphics elements from the info graphics has been integrated in this sample page. This artwork is not final, it is to be used for the animatics later in the future.
Character Design pt.1
Since the concept requires to have a simple character that does not need to be fully animated, a simple character design would do for the concept. The character designs are simple yet reflecting the look and feel of the project itself.
The sketch is showing the character study, what is the best hair for the character that can be used.

Catch Me If You Can - Title Sequence
This opening title of "Catch me if you can"
movie has many interesting design principles that i would like to use for my own project, the title sequence itself is echoing on what the story of the movie itself, taking many iconic objects and turned it into a more simplistic graphic. Simple graphics but yet interesting graphics enhance the movie title sequence. Both Typography and the graphics are the most focus aspect of this title sequence.
Another point from this sequence is the character design, the characters are design very stylistic and simple, with just silhouette and simple movement. The character design has been made so it is suitable into the environment itself. With the limitations of 2D point of view and limited colours the designer has been successfully made an excellent motion graphics.
Lastly, is the transition animation, using extended lines for the camera to follow it made a dynamic transition within one composition to another.

A Film for Title Sequence - CUT
Found a movie that needed a title sequence to put on, its a film from a local film maker titled "Cut". A film by Cameron Rose (Monash's Art & Design Multimedia Lecturer). Its a short film (7 min), that only has a basic closing title sequence. Since the director itself is an acquaintance of mine, getting materials of the film should not be a problem for this project.(Script, etc)
After watching the movie and analyzing the theme of the movie, in my opinion, making a graphical closing title sequence for the movie with my current style would be appropriate.
The story is from Greg's point of view (the protagonist), he is currently separated with his wife for anonymous reason. Then he is having an affair without telling that he is married himself, that later got caught.
